Dr. Richard Gartner is a psychologist and psychoanalyst specializing in male sexual abuse. Dr. Gartner is the author of several books and articles about sexual abuse including Beyond Betrayal: Taking Charge of Your Life after Boyhood Sexual Abuse and Betrayed as Boys: Psychodynamic Treatment of Sexually Abused Men, as well as the editor of Memories of Sexual Betrayal: Truth, Fantasy, Repression, and Dissociation. He is on the teaching faculty and supervises at the William Alanson White Psychoanalytic Institute in New York City. Dr. Gartner is the Founding Director of the White Institute's Sexual Abuse Program, and for six years he was Director of its Center for the Study of Psychological Trauma. Richard Gartner served for seven years on the Board of Directors of MaleSurvivor: National Organization against Male Sexual Victimization, and was its President from 2002 to2004.

Rick is the Executive Director of The Men's Project, a counselling and educational service based in Ottawa , Canada . A past college and university lecturer, Rick co-founded The Men's Project in 1997 and grew it into one of Canada 's leading treatment centres for issues concerning trauma recovery. Its training services led to the delivery of the 2008 "Men of Courage" conference – a Canadian first.
His writing spans both popular media and professional publications. His most recent publication is in Canadian Psychiatry Aujourd'hui. Rick was also the author for Health Canada in their investigation concerning the correlation between men's experience of HIV and sexual violence. Rick recently received the inaugural Attorney General's Award of Distinction for his work in "developing and implementing innovative victim service programs." He is currently co-authoring a sourcebook on community-based intervention strategies with male survivors, a commissioned project by the Cornwall Public Inquiry.

Dr. Jim Hopper is an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He conducts research on the long-term effects of child abuse and other traumatic experiences, including posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance abuse, and provides therapy to people dealing with these issues. He has nearly 20 years experience in research and clinical work with men sexually abused as children. His research has covered many areas, including how masculine gender socialization shapes emotions in the aftermath of child abuse, the nature of traumatic memories and how these can be transformed by therapy, brain bases of difficulties regulating emotions in PTSD, and the use of alcohol and drugs to deal with the effects of child abuse. Dr. Hopper also maintains a website on child abuse issues that receives over 500,000 unique visitors a year and includes the page, "Sexual Abuse of Males: Prevalence, Lasting Effects, and Resources."

Dr. Neal Kaufman is an experienced clinician and educator, has also been a leader in local, state and national efforts to improve the health of children and families. He is an expert in a range of areas including developing methods of educating patients and healthcare providers and delivering healthcare to vulnerable high-risk women and children. In 2004, and after his 26-year career in academic general pediatrics, Dr. Kaufman founded the Diabetes Prevention Source to help at risk individuals by creating technological solutions to prevent or treat diabetes and cardiovascular disease. His company has created the Behavioral Change EngineTM, an innovative technology platform for creating and implementing a variety of web-based assessment and intervention tools. Dr. Kaufman is also Co-Director of the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities and a Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at the UCLA Schools of Medicine and Public Health.

Jane Song is an attorney with the global law firm of Paul Hastings, LLP, practicing in their San Diego office. Ms. Song specializes in counseling technology companies on intellectual property and transactional matters. She is also a patent attorney registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is the author of several articles on intellectual property diligence in connection with technology transactions and a frequent speaker on the subject of intellectual property. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the California Bar Association, where she serves on their licensing committees. She is also a member of the Licensing Executive Society. She has a Bachelors and two Masters Degrees from MIT and a Law Degree from Columbia Law School.
